Hi all!

I have finally received mine today. I have brought one also for my father in law. Will he need to change the details to his name etc as I ordered it for a x-mas present? or can he still get on sites with my details?.

Also seems loads of sites for Europe but not as many for Gt Britain.

Thx any help will be gratefully appreciated.

What details are you talking about, the card in the book is blank until you fill it in so if he puts his own details on the card then that's it.

As Mike says they are not personalised in any way, so no need to worry. On your point about the UK the two markets are totally different. As we get relatively few European visitors to the UK that camp I suspect many campsites will think twice about being a member given the fees are around €800 to be in the directory.

I assume that's the reason they are seperatly displayed on the ACSI site with approx 500+ Gt Britain sites to browse?

One of the confusing things about the ACSI is that they inspect and report on lots of campsites but not all of them are in the discount scheme.

If you have the DVD then click on the top left button which says "Additional"
A menu drops down and you click CampingCard ACSI. This then only shows the sites which are part of the discount scheme, rather than all inspected sites

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

Problem is you have to have the up to date DVD to get the the up to date Camping Card sites so it is better to go to ACSI CC website.
