hi we are new to caravaning and have decided to go to vendee this year, the camp site is only 6 amp would we need a adapater and does this make much difference to wat u can use

You'll need to take a 2 pin adapter as not all campsites use the round blue connectors. The 6 amp bit will make a difference to how much stuff you can plug in at the same time.

Generally on French campsites the trip switch is easily accessable on the ehu point so if you do trip it, you can reset it yourself.

I was worried about surviving on 6A, but TBH as long as you are sensible then you'll be fine.
12 nights on site and did not trip it once.
