Takes Camping Cheques, £13.95 per night, www.campingcheque.co.uk, description in the Camping Cheques guide states - pools are open, but the minimarket, restaurant, pizzeria, takeaway, bar, or snack bar aren't.
You can have a look at the average weather in April on this website - Historical Weather Bergerac - but I think perhaps Bergerac is the nearest 'weather station' to Soleil Plage, however, it should give you a better idea than Joe Bloggs who might post - we were there in April 2009 and it rained for two weeks, or Fred Bloggs who might post - we were there in April 2007 and it was a heatwave. At least comparing years will give you a better idea!
It's likely to be quiet - the Easter weekend might be a little busier, but not that much. The French just don't seem to do anything other than hot weather camping! There may be some British families there in the Eurocamp mobiles, though, so you should at least have some neighbours.
It's a lovely site - right on the river, with a river beach. It's near enough to all the main sites in the Dordogne, and yet unlike a lot of other sites is quietly situated off any main roads. It's an easy drive into Sarlat and the LeClerc supermarket for shopping, and on market day.
