when are you thnking of going? i will be there for the whole of the school holidays - you will catch me doing the balloons for the kids on sunday afternoon (face painting and balloon animals are free as is the kids clown show on sunday evening - though the show might be a little late for your young ones)
a couple of days per week the owner, joseph, takes all the kids for a free tractor/donkey cart ride around the site - the pitches around 130 ish are near to a new small play area and new toilets, those pitches tend to be a lot bigger than normal, but there isnt a lot of shade if gets very hot. there isnt a bar on site so it doesnt get rowdy but they use the barn for evening fun and the noise (or what noise there is!!) wont carry that far. we are a lot closer to the barn but to be honest we dont hear much, just the odd 'boom boom' when they have a disco - which is normally someone playing cd's - yes it really is that home grown/basic!!
pitches with lots of shade are round the 197 - 202 - most of the french take pop up gazebos and eat and live outside all day, so have their own portable shade!! charcoal bbq's are allowed, perhaps even compulsory LOL
they have just opened up another camping field, but it doesnt have any facilities on it, behind pitches 181 - 173, so i would suggest not taking a pitch there if they offer it, unles they have built some since october!
english tv is easily found away from the trees with a domestic dish if you cant live without it LOL
i am sure there are lots of similar (very) french sites around but to me the beauty is that its a family site run by a very nice family!
we have a static there so if you need any info just ask, ps i dont have any ' financial interest' in the site - just trying to offer an honest opinion and information!
