Hello, I am spending five days in Normandy in June, and will be taking the ferry from Portsmouth. I need advice on the best value crossing to either Le Havre or St.Malo.

My wife and I will be travelling by car.

Le Havre is a cheaper crossing so go with that. You will be in Normandy when you land. St Malo is in Brittany.

The LD lines crossing to Dieppe is cheaper than Le Havre, so I guess its a question of whether youre then ok to drive a bit further - assuming youre going to western Normandy.
