We stayed here in 2008 : Chateau Martragny We cycled everywhere, the beaches, Pegasus Bridge, Bayeux, Caen so nothing can have been too far away ! I think the only time we used the car was to go to the supermarket just outside Bayeux. The campsite was lovely - nice and quiet in early September. A nice big pool too. We were tenting then in a SunCamp Sprint XL I think ? (forgotten the name of it)

We stayed here for several days at the end of our holiday last year. We left about 30th June, and the site was getting busy. The pool is a strange one; shallows at either end, and deep in the middle section. Might be a bit daunting for a weak swimmer.
