We stayed here in our tent in 2007 and 2008.
It's on the edge of a small village that doesn't have much to do but a couple of small shops and restaurants. However, drive to the coast (20mins to Mimizan) and there are some fantastic beaches and nice shops to wander around. Contis Plage has some lovely places to eat.
The site itself is very well run. Fus it was a bit hi-di-hi but it kept the kids entertained. The pool complex is lovely with a choice of 3 to swim in - one with a set of slides that the kids loved and one a heated indoor pool. They had organised activities for the kids to do as well as shows in the evenings. However, we didn't take advantage of any of that as we did our own thing.
It is a very large site with a mixture of chalets and camping. Ask for a large pitch as some are quite small. They are delineated by trees and some of the trees were quite overgrown although they may have been trimmed back by now.
The facilities were clean although I was keen on the showers and loos which are unisex and open air housed under sort of canopy roofs. Washing up area was good too. They have an onsite shop which stocks most necessities although pricey and the nearest supermarket is out of town. They also have a launderette to do your washing in.
We would go back but there are lots of other places to explore as well.
