Hi all,

We have been tavelling to France on holiday for the past 14 years, usually the south coast with 1 year to the Vendee, we are booked Hull to Zeebrugge last week in June for a 2 week break. Trouble is, we dont want to go as far this time. Has anyone got a recomendation of a campsite a day or so's travel from the ferry, we dont hang about, so can tramp on abit if need be.

Requirements:-

Swimming pool

Bars/ Restraunts

Town/ village (ie some where to walk round)

what about carnac, it is a lovely town, near to nice beaches, fairly good weather, lots of lovely eateries, great walks.
Would recommend these sites
Les menhirs
Grande metarie
La plage at la trinite
La baie at la trinite
Kervillor between both towns

What about heading East, into the mountains, unless you prefer beaches?

This is a lovely area of France with beautiful Towns and Villages and you can easily have day trips in Germany.   Plenty to see and do.
