We are planning on doing a 3 week trip from the Eurotunnel through belgium, Holland and Denmark.  Anyone know of any good sites along route? We plan to use the Aires as we travel, but want to be able to stop for 2-3 nights along the way.  any ideas would be great, especially for Brugge and Amsterdam.

Cant wait!!

Several useful camp sites on Camp site search for these places. Good luck.

Lucky you!!
We have just returned from 4 nights in Bruges and had a fabulous time,Bruges is such a lovely city. We stayed at Camping Memling which is in a fantastic location for visiting the centre of Bruges,(30-40 minute walk, or 10 minutes on a bike along a really flat safe cycle path and there are plenty of bike racks to chain your bike to in the centre, or there is a bus that stops outside the campsite and will drop you in the centre for 2euros..or you can just drive for 1 minute to the ring road and leave your car there all day free of charge). The campsite was really nice, clean and friendly and was also easy to find, about 10 minute drive off the E40 motorway. We will definatly use it again the next time we are in Bruges.
Happy planning.

We stayed at Camping Klein Strand in Jabbeke. It was just an interesting bus ride in to Bruges. It is reviewed on this website.

Have they finished all the building work at Camping Memling? When we went in October the toilets and showers were filthy. Every time it rained many of the pitches were underwater. We felt sorry for the people staying in the manky trekker's hut and so-called Gypsy Caravan.
The buses don't really stop outside the campsite, it's roughly half a mile up the road in the middle of a housing estate. Also the regular bus stops at 8p.m. and you have to catch the night bus which goes all round the houses. If you miss that, the taxi fare's round about £12 from the centre. The next time I go to Bruges, I'll book an hotel.
I notice the O.P. has a motor caravan, so you will be able to stop at the Aire just off the ring road, looks a much better bet. If you park at the aire, you're close to the area near the brewery with it's bars and restaurants.
