Hi

Does anyone know anything about this campsite ? http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=10922.

We'd not planned to go across to France but someone is selling a holiday at this campsite for the last two weeks of August £500 including ferry crossing in a 6 berth pre erected tent + all the equipment. Which is tempting me.

  Hi,

     We are due to go to Les Amiaux at the end of this month for 15 days.Have 1 x 13,1x16, and1 x19 year old children.Is there plenty for different ages to do? Is site kept well? Weather good?.

 Anything else you can think of for first timers to this site.

Hi Mark.

Are you going in a tent or staying on an onsite static. The camping pitches are well maintained the static pitches could have done with a mow. The water slides are popular my kids bought infaltable rings from the site shop and had great fun going down slides on them. There is a 5 a side pitch and some table tennis tables - take your own bats. There is a tennis court. Beach is 10-15 min walk through forrest. You need a gas BBQ if you are wanting to BBQ (normanl for most French sites now) We took our cadac and used it every day. There is a new toddler outdoor pool and a large rectangular outdoor pool, as well as slides and heated indoor pool. We never use the bar or onsite restaurant so can't comment.

Swimming at lake Apremont is great. There is also the velo track but we have never been on that. Noirmoutier is nice for a day trip with the Passage du Gois (which the tour went over). Super U is near by take a euro cent for trolly and carrier bags for shopping.

    We are tenting-in one of their big pitches 160m plus-do you know where they are located on the site?

  Bit concerned for the older girls for things to do,especially at night but hopefully similar ages there and activities for them to do-disco etc?

  Looking forward to it,been to Vendee several times but never this site.Thanks again
