in France and stayed in a tent. Quite a few friends go there religiously every year and can't rate the site highly enough. You can stay in anything from a tent, chalet (mobile home), gite and Lodges.
I've been looking at this site and they do there own tents (will save us taking ours and wasting a few hours on pitching and packing away).

We're looking at going the first week in June next year (half term week), you're another one who rates it highly . Hope you enjoy your trip in August, friends of ours just came back from a half term week holiday there and booked straight away on their return, for next year!

We went there last year and are off again this weekend .
We go in a caravan but I had a wander round the ready-made tent section and it looked pretty good to me apart from the fact they were a little closer together than I would personally like.
The tents looked decent enough and the ones I saw were alongside the river with some trees around - quite pretty.
The site itself is great (assuming you like large sites with lots of facilities), especially if you get good weather and can use the great set of pools.

Hi there,We have been to the site last year and are going again in 12 more sleeps.............We bring our own van,but I have seen the Canvas tents.
They are in a very shaded part of the site near one of the lakes.you will get to know your neighbours VERY WELL.!I can`t comment on the tents from a habitation point of view but I would say to try,if possible to bring your own. Also the pitches where the canvas tents are tends to get very flooded in heavy rain,so much so that I saw many of them with little :channels: dug around them to divert the water.
Others may differ with my comments but I can only tell you what I saw.
On a positive note the site is an excellent holiday destination with lots to do,great shops nearby, great attractions and sites to see and a fab little village within walking distance there and staggering distance back.
Hi Been a couple of times and love it but been with our own lodgings. I have been in one of the tents as my daughter got friendly with an other girl who was staying in tent and they looked really roomy why dont you try the site direct as im sure they have their own tents on site and might be cheaper.
