It's a good site really well worth a visit.
If you are going from about 18th Aug then they accept Touring Cheques (it may even be 16th). The site is a family run site. Mr Bussat also has a vineyard and sends the grapes to Switzerland for the wine to be made. Restaurant and pool on site. One of the things I remember is the Savoie night in the party tent. As it is a set menu - often Raclette + sweet + wine, it comes at a reasonable price. Mr Bussat is very enthusiastic about the local area and will organise a guided tour of Geneva - which, much to the amusement of our kids, he frequently refers to as 'beautiful city', with great regularity. He has a really go attempt at speaking English, but sometimes gets it a bit wrong. There are also walks organised on Mt Saleve. Even if you decide not to go on one of his tours, it is worth a visit - excellent view over Geneva, and you can see over to Mt Blanc also on a good day. He will also show you around his vineyard if you wish.
The site has a fair number of fruit trees, so it is not uncommon to see the odd wasp, but it's not too bad. Pitches are of reasonable and variable size. They will match the size of the pitch to your unit. Toilet blocks are of good quality. Childrens play area near the site entrance. Security barriers. There are some static caravans and some log cabin type accommodation - also fairly close to the entrance.
Weather can be a little variable towards the end of August, but we have always been fairly lucky - it has been fine. It is fairly easy to get to Annecy, for a visit and towns along Lake Geneva, including Evian. Mr Bussat also does a welcome evening where he will explain the area and suggest places to visit.
All in all, we really like the site and have visited on several occasions. It is certainly on our list of places to return to when we can next get over to France. I think Jean Bussat tries to have a quieter life these days but he is still very much in evidence and still runs the show - he's a good chap.
Hope this helps a little.
