We just got back from two weeks at this campsite and i have already booked again for next year, this was the BEST holiday we ever had, the site is perfect and has everything you need for a great holiday, i feel lucky to have found such a special place, already looking forward to next year.

Hi,

We checked this site last year - and it was booked full - and looked a bit "touristy" to us - so we passed it and drove to San Gimigiano instead.

But the landscape is great -  and if one can avoid the high-season I think the site is ok?

Best regards

Jens Jakob

The site is very big but manages not to feel like it because its split up over levels, the camping spots are on each level along with the statics, we were positioned close to the bottom of the site, i favoured the pitches there as they seemed more private and had plenty of shade,it gets very very hot... their is a bit of a steep climb to the centre of the site so anyone with walking difficulties would be advised to stay a little further up. The site has three proper dinner restaurants, two are situated at the centre of the site, both were very good and not expensive but you will need to book a table as even in june they were very busy, the other is at the top of the site (a very steep, but enjoyable uphill walk) and offers a tuscan all you can eat buffet for 17.50. The supermarket is well stocked and not too expensive, you have a coop just ten minutes away in Figline that has everything. In the centre of the site you also have an ice cream cafe, you can have an ice cream or coctail by the fountain after dinner in the evening, the pools are situated in two places, there's two outdoor pools, a covered pool ant two slides at the centre of the site and a two pools, the lazy river and a lagoon type pool at the top level, also here they have a small pool with a plat structure for babies, each of the pools have plenty of seating around them but there is no shade a the top lagoon so bring a hat, both of the pool areas have a small cafe type restaurant for lunch or a beer or cocatil, they have everything from ravoli to burgers and they are not expensive, a large beer is four euro and a litre of wine nine euro. all in all a perfect site in a very beautiful setting, looking forward to returning next year, if anyone has anything else they would like to know i would be happy to help.

The first time we used this site, there was nothing to the right of the entrance road. The site was only those pitches behind the restaurant and swimming pool.   It then got extended over the closed season to take in all the other pitches. At that stage it was known as Camping Girasol
The water park feature was added a couple of years later at Villa Norcinni which was an old villa converted into apartments.   The small cabins were added at the same time and the two were combined as Camping Norcinni Girasole.
It has certainly kept pace with the enormous growth both in terms of facilities and staff.

Enjoy yourself.   Whatever you're doing!!

Looks amazing ... and probably everything we would flee from in a camp site!

I too thought this was a bit of a risky choice as we usually try to stay with small camp sites, my parents come with us every year (both sixty)  and the kids are only eight and five so we are not exactly party animals, we both own mobiles on a very small campsite in wexford so it was completely out of character for us to visit somewhere as big as Norcenni but now I have the folks pestering me to confirm dates for next year, they absolutely loved it and both my sisters and their families are coming too!! I will return next year but it will be end of june when its not too busy, we had the pool to ourselves most of the time this year. Absolutely wonderful place.
