Hi we went to Du Letty a few years ago and had a fantastic time, when you arrive on site they will ask you to choose a pitch, it is unlikely you will get one on the beach these are normally given to seasonal pitches. This is not a bad thing because as you will see the beach side pitches are a bit tight compared to the others parts of site.

Leave the van at reception and have a walk around to find a pitch that suits you. The staff are very helpful. Can recommend the onsite takeaway and shop, it is a very easy walk into Benodet and a short drive to supermarket.

The beach is good but the sand can be a bit sharp so worth wearing beach shoes, also watch out for the current as the tide goes out it can be strong.

Lots of local towns and villages worth a vist for the weekly markets we especially liked Concarneau.

Have a good time i am sure you will

We went to Letty last year and are booked again for this August.  It is a fantastic site and Benodet is a really nice town.  The staff mostly speak English and everyone is very freindly etc.

The shop on the site sells fresh bread/croissants etc every morning but you'll have to get there early!.  they are building a new waterpark this year which looks great.

The Festival on the 15th August is brilliant, they have a parade and a huge firewrok display in the estuary, it is not worth trying to drive into town for this and it,s not too far to walk.  Do take drinks etc with you as last year the queues for the vending vans etc were very, very long.

Locally there are some very nice towns etc and some nice secluded beaches too, it is also worth taking bikes with you, or hiring them from the local place just by the site.

You will have a great time, enjoy

Just for information, today is lovely in central Brittany about 30 c. Clear blue skies and not too humid. Southern Brittany may well be a bit warmer.
