i remember getting off the ferry at 9 pm at calais and driving all the way to pamplona in one hit it took about 14 hours if i remember correctly now i look back on it and think what a stupid and irisponsable thing to have done! at night time you dont know your asleep untill its too late,the wife and i have regualy done the return trip with both of us driving taking turns and rest breaks and when you reach calais and get on the boat by god you know you have done it i was  younger then the car was new now im older and so is the car and we take life at a more leasurly pace, is it worth going like a loony feeling like your eyes are on fire slapping yourself round the face at 5 am in the morning just to stay awake i dont think so and its bloody dangerious to push yourself your a long time dead
