hello all not posted for ages but i am after some advice for next years camping trip.I know its ages off yet but would really love to go to spain next year with our tent.I have been to france and would love to try something different. Was thinking of going to the girona area and with driving from calais wouldnt like to go any furter south than barca.I have 2 boys 10,11 ideally would love somewhere on the coast. This year were off to turkey with friends they have invited us to stay so have only had to pay for flights i am slightly worried as to what the kids will do in the evening as when we have camped they are quite happy pootling off round the campsite. So to put my mind at rest i thought i would get planning for next years hols, many thanks.

We have been to L'amfora for the past 2 years and are returning in 4 weeks, I have 2 boys aged 13/18 they both love it there. During the day the meet up with the friends that they find and go swimming or to the beach, play football or just meet up with loads of others near the play area then in the evening there is the table tennis and disco to "hang out" at. They have never complained about being bored as there are hundreds of kids the same age. We too travel via Calais with an overnight stop about halfway.
Also check out Ballena-Alegre. It's fairly near to l'amfora - we're going back there this year (in two and a half weeks - yipeeee), lovely area, very hot, lots to do and the pitches are right on the beach. I'm sure there are reviews on here and they also have a great website. We also travel via Calais, but as we travel from Cornwall we usually have at least two overnight stops.... we have done it in one, but were exhausted on arrival in Spain - and also didn't see much of France!!
We are just back from France then onto Spain,we stayed at camping Cala GoGo at Platja de Aro itsabout 25 miles from Gerona its on the coast massive site three swimmimg pools great facilities private beach all in all a fantastic site.

Please could you all leave reviews, so many of these campsites i would love to go to, but unless you leave reviews it is difficult to know whats good/bad etc
Many thanks
