1) Electricity usually 5/6 amp supply but sometimes up to 10 amps. Cross polarity a common feature in France so you will need a tester and some reversed leads. Two types of sockets, the French/European 2 pin variety and the CEE17 UK style plugs.
2) Most sites have a ready supply of drinking water taps with press button taps are usual. They don't always make the same provision for dirty water disposal but you could always use one of the Turkish loos to dispose of it.
3) Parking, do you mean solo? If so most French towns have lots of parking. Although a lot of it is chargeable they have this quirk that it is free over lunch time!

5 ) Breakdown make sure you have good insurance cover, Caravan Club Red Pennent is very good.
6 ) Overnight parking in towns. Most towns have a Municipal camp site, I think you would find this the best option.
