Has anyone recently come back from Le Letty, or that area of Brittany....we're thinking of going from Plymouth to Roscoff. What did u pay? I'm getting quotes of around £530 for 2 adults, 2 toddlers and an MPV with roofbox, which I've yet to buy...any recommendations.

Lots of questions but for a first camping trip abroad, I'm feeling the responsibility not normally gotten from a package holiday.

Thanks for any advice.

Hi Daddysrubbish (I'm sure he isn't!) & welcome to the forum

Sorry, I can't answer your query, just wanted to say Hi. Can I suggest that you post this topic again in the 'Caravanning & Camping Abroad' section, and hopefully someone who has done the trip will give you advice.

hi, i booked that crossing last week as we are of to le Letty! We paid £418 for 2 adults, 2 children MPV and roofbox. i think it all depends which crossing you go for, some are more expensive than others also we did not need accomodation as only 5 hour crossings both through the day.

hope that helps, whatever happens i'm sure you will have a great time!

Depending in where you are starting from have you considered Norfolk lines Dover - Dunkeque ?? at the moment they are offering peak season crossings 2 adults +2 kids £40 for a mid week crossing  or august sat out  ret sat 27th £46 ret

we did this with 2 weeks ago although we did have a stopover & we used none toll routes it can easily be done in albeit a long day

its 480miles dunkeque to benodet
