Hi, does anyone have any experience of charging an iPad on a french campsite? We have usual EHU but I seem to recall that my phone wouldn't fully charge last year. Will we have problems trying to charge the iPad? Many thanks

I don't know about charging it using the EHU, but we charge our laptop from the car lighter socket. Works brilliantly.

I can't imagine why you'd have problems - your hook-up supply should charge the iPad without any problems.  We charge our laptop in the caravan without problems - and we charge phones either in the caravan, or through the cigarette lighter whilst out and about.

We just got back from France and charged the IPad in the van without any problems.
