It all depends where you are in Normandy (as it's a huge region) and whether you are an adult group or travelling with children but my suggestions would include:

D-day beaches and memorials eg Arromanches and Omaha Beach- vey moving

Bayeux for its tapestry and quaint old town

The Benedictine distillery in Fecamp (the Cote d'Alabatre in general is very scenic)

Monet's garden in Giverny

Walking /driving/ cycling/ riding through rolling countryside with lots of orchards.

Suisse Normande for outdoor activities.

There really is something for everyone so I hope you have a fantastic time.

The cemetery at Colleville sur mer is well worth a visit. It's the one at the start of the film 'Saving Private Ryan'. It overlooks the landing beaches and is a very moving experience. I first went in 1995 with 30 teenagers from inner city Leeds - and not a dry eye in the house!
The town of Deauville is also worth a visit, very quaint and picturesque.
And of course Calvados!

Have a great time

Ruth
