On a recent tour, we headed to this area to find the sea! We were shocked to find that all the campsites were large, busy and very commercialised. We stayed one night at an extortionate cost and then headed inland to see if we could find anything smaller, quieter and simpler, We failed!
I know its peak season but £51 for one tiny pitch and all you could see are miles of statics etc. We certainly couldn't get near a beach. In the end we left disappointed as it seemed a lovely area with lots to explore.
Does anyone know of a site in this area (other than aires) which is quieter, is not all singing and dancing, but offers reasonable basic facilities please? We would love to return.
