Greetings All,

In the past 24hrs, while trolling through this site (and others) and I came across a page that displays all the Spanish filling stations with maps showing locations etc..

The problem is that I got called for Tea and when I came back I couldn't remember where I had seen it (first stages of 'Losing it' I reckon)

Can anyone tell me where the site is. I think I was on UK Campsite at the time but can't be sure.

On a similar thread, can I recommend the below site as invaluable to locating french garages especially in these cash strapped times.

Thanks in advance.

Don't know if this is what you're looking for but it might help:
http://elpreciodelagasolina.com/

Just type in the name of the place where it says LOCALIDAD O PROVINCIA, then click on BUSCAR GASOLINERAS..

Otherwise just try looking at the history in your browser for the day that you found the page you liked and you can revisit it from there.

Greetings Bubobubo,

It wasn't the one you suggested but the 'History' suggestion (why didn't I think of that?) came up trumps.

the site was;

http://geoportal.mityc.es/hidrocarburos/eess/

Thank you

My next question???

Assuming that gasoleo is diesel (It's been awhile since I was in Spain).

What is the difference between,
Nuevo Gasoleo A,
Gasoleo B and,
Gasoleo C ?????
All replies gratefully received.

Gasóleo is indeed diesel..
Gasóleo A is, I think, normal diesel for cars etc... then there's type B, which is for heavier type vehicles such as agricultural machinery, and type C is for heating...
I got this info from this website:
http://www.suministroic.com/TiposGasoleos.html#A

Thanks for that Bubobubo,

Obvious when you come to think of it.

Lets hope the Spanish diesel falls in price before our hols.

Many thanks once again.

Can't see the prices dropping but lately there have been some fluctuations, ie, it had dropped by a few cents here at our local Alcampo the last time we went but it may well have gone back up again since.
What part of Spain will you be visiting?

We are entering the country via the Somport tunnel (with the caravan in tow) and then it's Jaca, Zaragoza and Teruel to finish up in Benicassim for a month.

The Zaragoza to Benicassim we've 'done' a few times and we've been through Jaca in the past so it's not uncharted territory but things drop off the 'personal hard drive' after time LOL.

Can you tell me which campsites that you will be stopping at on the way down especially Zaragoza and Teruel as there are not too many campsites  on that route.

Any suggestion would be welcome as we leave on Wed.

Morning Just cards,

We arrive at Dunkirk (it was a freeby crossing via CC) we 'normally' do Calais staying on the dock but have a choice of a few in the area of St Omer.
The second night is somewhere near Angouleme and for the third night we have found a site at Accous near to the Somport tunnel. There are also other sites in the area that are open in the villages/Towns of Aramits, Arette and Besdous.

Last time we travelled from the area of St Jean de Luz on the French/Spanish border to Benecassim in one day arriving at 4.30pm so I don't envisage any problems with our choice.
Time is tight right now but if you want further info just ask and I will put some further info on here later.

Regards.

Greetings,
The only site we have stayed at en route to anywhere in Spain was near Madrid.((Pico De Meil at Cabrera) however my book (ACSI 2005-6) shows a site at Senegue which is about 12 miles from Jaca and about 27 miles from the Somport Tunnel.

It's shown as open 12months of the year.

The other one from memory is Cuidad de Zaragoza which is within the Zaragoza ring road on the western side. This site is recommended by Allan Rogers.

I have been to neither of the above sites but, if they are needed they are there.

As an aside, the last time we went through Zaragoza it was our intention to stop but as the time was 1.30pm in the afternoon we pressed on and we were in Benicassim at 4.30pm (just to give you a time-scale) We weren't rushing and, as I remember we were plodding along at about 55mph,
