Been here since Sunday and got to say weather is scorching and looks set to continue.We are in Lazise (Camping Du Parc) and very pleased with all of the campsite.Travelled down via Belguim,Back into France (Obernai)then Landeck in Austria before over the Brenner.Petrol prices varied from 1.23 in Belguim,1.32 but here in Italy its currently 1.45 euros.Hope everyone having a decent crack of the weather around europe too.Here till monday before heading home wards.

Thought you were going through Switzerland? Still you got there, weather great i hope, leave some sun for us following. Hope to be there by the 11th Sept, not sure which site as yet.

Hey Taffy, think we had convo before we came away? We too are in Garda and loving it, we arrived on the 15th after two stopovers one in Belgium and one in Switzerland. To add to your fuel prices we filled up in Luxembourg and it was only £1 a gallon! We are staying at the next site to you Spiaggia d'oro managed to get a pitch one row back from the lake which if fab! We are the only English on site though! Cant believe how hot it has been 38 deg most days, bit of a breeze today first since we have been here but very welcome!!

We went to Venice last week, we drove and it was very easy. Love Lazise will definately return again, and it is so easy to walk from the site into the town isn't it? Had a few meals at Gems which we have really enjoyed.

We drove down through France to Lyon, then went across the Alps via the Frejus tunnel. I was a bit cross, because our Transporter CV usually travels at car rate, but we were charged extra, despite my protests, a hefty e46 one way.
Across via Turin and Milan, to an ACSI site at Bardolino.
Weather was very hot all week after a wet day and night travelling. Had a great time. Travelled south to the Med, round to Antibes. Spectacular sea views, and only e36 tolls the whole way. Very hot there too.
