There are 3 vets listed in the phone book in Calais. I used one last week & was presently surprised that both he and the receptionist spoke English.
We didn't phone just dropped in, they are open every day with a midday break and half day Sat. 8H-12H,14H-17H
Cost 59 euro for our adult Golden Retriever which I thought was OK considering no appointment (& Calais).
You can park outside or there is a supermarche opposite

Expensive and I would not wish to wait 24 hours in Calais either.

Calais is very underrated there is a lovely beach with an Aire that costs 7 euro, another aire that costs nothing and of course Cite Europe to pass the wait.
As for cost we paid 45 euro the year before in Amiens.

The nice vet in Rue, near Baie de la Somme,  charges 24€ but I take my own meds. big car park outside and an easy drive to the port the following day.
