Hi there
I haven't stayed at this site but we did camp just outside Clairvaux les Lacs a couple of years ago. It's a beautiful area and great for a holiday if you like the outdoors, with some really nice lakeside beaches. My personal feeling about all the campsites we saw that were immediately lakeside were that they were of the "pack them in like sardines" type and quite commercial, so not to our preference, but I don't recall seeing anywhere that looked particularly run down.
