We are looking at next years holidays, and thinking about going to the above site.  Could anyone who has visited this site, recommend any pitch numbers.  We will be visiting in a tent, so we don't want to be to far away from the toilets/showers but then not to close (if you know what I mean).

Also, how long would it take to get down there from Calais, is it advisable to do an overnight stop on route?

Any tips would be gratefully received.

We stayed at Le Capeyrou this year. It is a lovely site well looked after and very clean. We had a pitch at the far end of the campsite which was a fair way from the toilets. But it was very quiet. The pitches closer to the facilities seemed much noisier and busier with people coming and going. But I cannot remember the numbers.
We did the Newhaven to Dieppe crossing and drove down in one day leaving Dieppe at 3.30am and arriving at the camp site about 2.30pm. We had plenty of stops but to be honest I would not recommend it for everyone. On our return we stopped over night in Orlean in a Premiere Classe hotel which was basic but fine.
