It won't be booked up that far ahead by the end of October/beginning of November. Prices usually stay the same for a while when it is that far off, then, as more people book and it gets nearer the time, prices start to go up. But I wouldn't have thought that is likely to happen until at least sometime next year.

We normally book at the beginning of November for both the Tunnel and the site. Thus far we have never had an issue....(keeping fingers crossed).

I think that because the tunnel runs 3 trains an hour day and night, it is unlikely that you won't be able to travel on the day you choose, though it might have to be the 'unsocial hours', which are cheaper rate anyway.

we use the tunnel 5 or 6 times a year and most times only book 4 - 6 weeks in advance and never have a problem booking

Last year we booked three weeks in advance with Tesco vouchers and paid £240 for the car and caravan which was about the same as the previous year when we'd booked months ahead.
Fares are currently only available till Sept 2nd. When I was trying to book for Feb and April 2012 with my last lot of 4x vouchers I could only get dates ten months ahead so had to book what was available and amend later.
