Hi

I am going to France at Easter and intend having a day at Eurodisney.

I understand that you can park a Motorhome overnight on the parking lot in Eurodisney and there are 24hr water and waste and toilet facilities there.

Has anyone use this car parking lot if so is it ok.

As I only intend using it for 2 nights I am not to worried about any facilites as long as it is safe.

Thanks Roger

Hello Rogera. We visited Disney in 2002 on the way back from Spain. We used a site to pitch our caravan. Motorhomes were parked up at Disney overnight. They are parked with the coaches, which is next to the carpark. Toilets and water is available. Caravans are NOT allowed.

Hi, we are a family of 4 and we camped at Jablines last year, which is only 15 mins at the most from Euro Disney. You can buy park tickets here and they run shuttle buses to Euro Disney & Park Asterix.

The site is very secure, ideal for kids and I would recommend this rather than a coach park, especially near Paris.

The site can be found on the Alan rogers web-site or guide book, reference number 7703 or visit www.perso.wanadoo.fr/camping-jablines/

If this link does not work, try Google & type in camping-jablines.

posted on the other thread, but in case you didn't see it

Have used it twice. Seems safe enough. You would get the odd yellow coated heavy having a wander around to discourage the scrotes. Showers were good. Toilets had toilet paper  - cost 20 Euro per day and 20 for each overnight iirc. If I was going back I would use it again.

First thing to do when you get there is work out how fast pass works. Fastpass queues for the best rides are usually 5 minutes. Also worth going to the Studios for several goes on Aerosmiths rockin rollercoaster - awesome acceleration

Went last year and stayed at Les Etangs in the Touqin region. We were there during the hot spell and the pool area is a good suntrap.  The bar run on site is pricey and draught beer costs about £4 for a pint. The family owners also do some fast food but the sight of Garcon with a fag on the go and the ash falling into the fryer put me off, besides the local bacon and produce is much better on the bbq. The pitches were great, very relaxed, nationalities seemed like a mix of about 40% French, 40%Dutch, 15%UK, 5%Spanish.  I found it all very interesting, UK people seem to arrive with everything but the concrete footings from their homes, then they whack up huge power aerials,  the Dutch have only the minimum, with them guys the gazebo goes up and then 2 very posh deckchairs are placed out, thats it. For proximity to Disneyland and general ease of days Id rate it 9/10.  With regards to Disneyland then I would really recommend Mickeys Cafe in the Village, my kids are 5 and 2 years of age and so love seeing people in Goofy and Mickey costumes, surprisingly you see few costumed characters in DisneyPark during the daytime, maybe because they get swamped by autograph hunters and adult huggers who had the habit of knocking toddlers out of the way to put their arms around Cinderella.  In Mickeys Cafe however you pay for what you get and what you get is excellent French food and table service, and your kids get to meet a whole range of Disney characters, 10/10. I thought France was great to tow a Caravan around, plenty of stop over points on route to destination, I quite fancy going again or maybe even pushing on into Spain.

ps, Its also worth going to Disney about 3 or 4 in the afternoon, it takes off after the main street parade at 5, your there then until midnight fireworks.

Hi to you All

Some good advice here.

looked at  Jablines Web site this looks good and the shuttle services looks handy ,could be a good one for when we bring the Grandkids later in the year we will check it out thanks  Billbhoy999.

Same thing with Les Etangs thanks Standards.

Reasuring to here from someone who has used the on site park at Disney we may use that.

This is realy just a stop off on our way to see some friends further west so a good campsite is not that esential, just somewhere safe to stop.

We want to check Eurodisney out before we brinng the Grandkids we have been to the one in Florida 4 times so we are well into the Disney image (and costs)  and when we do it will be to a regular Camosite.

Thanks for all your help

Roger

Hi

If you are thinking of going to disney a couple of times it might be worth getting 12 month tickets, we bought them last may they cost 119  euros each we bought four and got 15% discount, you can buy a day ticket then if you like what you see you can upgrade before you come out .there are 10 days in the year you cant use them but there are also advantages discount in all shops and resurants free parking saving 8 euros a day.

worth thinking about ,you will get info about them on the web site i mentioned above

We stayed at jablines last may very nice site lovley grounds and manmade lakes and beach, nice to chill out after disney
