Hi All,
Thoughts are now entering my mind about where to next August. I think we will be heading to Brittany. So I would like to draw on your knowlege. Where would be a good choice of campsite for a family with a 7 year old boy. On or near the south coast of Brittany. Idearly a site well suited to tents.
Thanks
------------- When you wake up in the morning to the sounds and sights of the campsite, ask yourself one question.....who's nicked my tent?????

We stayed at Camping de la Plage in La Trinite Sur Mer this June. We have two young children. The campsite is situated on a sandy beach, there is a outdoor swimming pool with slides and in the summer I believe there is a kids club. We went in June out of season, the kids club wasn't operating then. We took our tent and had no problems with the pitch.

hi there
We as a family have been to Brittany on many ocassions and love the Southwest.
I would highly recommend any of the following sites:
Kervillor at Trinite sur mer
La plage at Trinite sur mer
La baie at Trinite sur mer
Grand metarie at Carnac
Les Menhirs at Carnac
Parc Dinly at Penestin (may be different as new owners)
See my reviews
Its a lovely place to go

In west Brittany rather than south, there's a couple of sites I and others on here would recommend. On the edge of Benodet - Camping Du Letty next to the sea and Camping de la Piscine a few miles away near Beg Meil/Fouesnant, 20 mins walk from a lovely beach. Both have good pools with slides and are in quiet areas with lots to do nearby.

We had some fantastic holidays with the children at Camping Le Quinquis at Le Pouldu. Just looked it up and it has been upgraded- looks lovely.

Agree with Keith on this one. Le Pouldu is a lovely little village overlooking the sea, great beach for the kids. Camping Le Embruns is a large clean child friendly site about 50 metres from the beach.

We've been to Camping du Quinquis twice with 2 young children and have loved it. Good kids club and pool and Le Pouldu lovely. Will probably return one day.
