Hi,
I am struggling to find a good site in Germany. We are spending a few days near innsbrug , Austria and then plan on a 7 day stay on the way home, so around Stuttgart.

We would like somewhere with lots to see and do and picturesque. The campsite needs to be a reasonable size with restaurant but certainly doesn't need to be all singing and dancing.

You could look at the LANDAL GROUP. Their site at SAARBURG has the facilities you are looking for, and their is plenty to see around if you are prepared to drive a bit .

We have stayed at Camping Waldpark on the edge of the small town of Hohenstadt. This is about halfway between Ulm and Stuttgart. It has a swimming pool and restaurant.

As David says above Camping Waldpark is good. Has a small restaurant on the site which we found excellent. The owners are very friendly and helpful.  Excellent place to stay.
