Just planning a stay in Britanny for second half of July, probably near Cap Frehel and Erquy - our first trip to France with the van. We are taking our dog and I'm finding it hard to find out if we will be OK to take her onto the beach with us (on a lead obviously). We clearly can't (and wouldn't want to) leave her on the campsite but would like to be able to make the most of the beaches. Anyone know beaches in that area which would be OK? Thanks.

This website - Plage Autorisees aux Chiens - should help you fnd somewhere near where you want to stay - sometimes restricted hours, and always check with the Tourist Information bureau.  You can use Google Translate if you don't speak much French.
