Hello, wonder if anyone knows what level of pitch an ACSI card gives on a Castels site? We are thinking of going, in June, to L'Anse du Bric near Cherbourg, where there are several categories of pitch.
Does the ACSI card give the lowest level? and if you want a larger size pitch can you just pay a supplement on site?
Hope somebody has been and done it!!!!
Thanks Jackie

Don't know about l'Anse, but otherwise 'yes' and 'yes', in our albeit limited experience, also applies to Camping Cheques,
But we rarely stay on 'posh' sites

Didn't know Bien Assise were in Castels, but then we've not been for years, don't remember them having different grades of pitch either,
ah well, that's progress I guess

Presumably the ACSI book should say in the campsite description if there are any restrictions, eg the sites on Garda lakeside state that the first 3 rows of pitches nearest the lake cannot have ACSI discount.
Thanks for the above info, I had never seen any restrictions in the ACSI book, so didn't know of them. Usually only rely on the web as the book is not so user friendly.

RTFM
Sites are not discriminating against method of payment
ACSI tell you your entitlements quite clearly, 1 camping pitch 2 adults 1 shower per day included at the stated rates.
The site may allow you a super pitch for the reduced rate, but that is at their discretion you can not demand it - but can always ask to pay extra for the facilities.

Hello again...The query was really specific to this site as they have three levels of pitch and thats before the top level! Just curious as to whether to factor in extra expense per night or whether they are flexible at that time of year. I am hoping that since it will be early June, that there will be a choice and they won't be too picky about charging extra.
Don't usually go to such an expensive site, but there isn't so much choice in the very top of the Manche area. Thanks again for the replies.
