Hi Katie
Have a look at the ACSI card website (www.campingcard.co.uk) and the Camping Cheques website (www.campingcheque.co.uk) for a range of sites which offer discounts in low season. On the website you should find plenty of sites which are open at the time you want to holiday - and you can arrange your 'tour' to fit in with sites you know are open. You can search on a particular date so you can see exactly which sites are open and when. If you use ACSI sites will cost either 10, 12, 14 and 16 euros per night, and this includes pitch, two adults, car and caravan (or motorhome or tent), awning and electricity! If you use Camping Cheques the same 'package' will cost you £13.95 per night.
There are actually 606 sites in France which take the ACSI card on the 3rd April, so you've plenty of choice. All departments of Brittany have a good range of sites. Definitely worth a look.
