Thanks for the pics Roobie they look the biz....only thing left is to decide on Capeyrou or Moulettes in the Auvergne never been to either area before.
Must say, I love the sound of Moulettes ... it 'sings' peace and relaxation ... Capeyrou didn't/doesn't.
Capeyrou puts you at the centre of touristy Dordonge ... but you pay the penalty with crowds and traffic ... Moulettes sounds as if you get real rural France without crowds and tourism ...
We are thinking of staying at this site in late June. For those of you who have been are the local roads drivable with the caravan (acess etc)? Lots of you seem to have camped in tents. Thanks for any help/advice you can give.

We stayed there last year. Might not be the best person to answer this as we were in a tent, but there were plenty of caravans and large motor homes there. Think some of the side roads might be a bit tight but most were pretty accessible. It's a beautiful site, we had a great time.
