Interesting that little titbit. My car is a Vauxhall Insignia and there are no markings on the headlamp lenses. So how do I position the beam benders?

Also my number plates both on the car and caravan bear the EU logo and the GB letters. Am I still required to apply GB stickers to both vehicles?

Any advice gratefully received.

You don't need GB stickers if you have 'euro' numberplates. You probably don't need beam benders either. I have letter from from Citroen GB stating that they are not needed on my current model Berlingo.

The reason modern headlights do not need benders is that the left hand 'spotter beams' only illuminate onto road & not upwards to dazzle oncoming motorists. There has never been a law requiring beam benders, there is only a requirement that you do not dazzle oncoming motorists.

Think you'll find they only last a set period, 2 years i think.

Yes, now available at supermkt checkouts. I got a couple of packs at the Dunkirk Auchan yesterday for a couple of €s. I was looking in the motoring section. Asked the assistant, who took me to where they were displayed at checkout.

Quite hard to spot tho among the sweets/phone sim's etc, I was expecting some sort of large display perhaps. Just ask for 'ethylotest'.
