We did the same and haven't received anything other than a confirmatory email! On another forum someone has posted stating that they have had an email saying that the card is restricted to people living in Holland and Belgium but someone else has reported that theirs has arrived!! I know we had problems filling in the address and postcode, which doesn't fit the format of the webpage you had to fill in. They 'Best Deal' company do state that they hope to produce an English version next year.
I think we'll manage with ACSI, Camping Cheques, and cheaper municipal sites, and leave Best Deal until either it arrives, or it's more generally available for next year.
Sometimes me?. Best ever were my free nights, courtesy of someone lovely on here, who gave me some Camping Cheques! Second were my two Camping Cheques for £5.00 from someone on another forum.
Just discovered an ACSI site, new, with nice looking pool, in Spain, for 10 euros per night, 7 nights for 6, 14 nights for 12, and 30 nights for 20! Saves 15 euros or more per night on their published tariff!!!! Now even I could be tempted to spend a fortnight somewhere for 120 euros including hook-up! (£101.56 at current exchange rates) Or even a month for 200 euros! (£169.26)!!!!

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
I got my Best Deal card last year, valid for 2011, and automatically got a new one, which is valid indefinitely, last October.
Maybe something to do with the fact that I emailed them in Dutch asking whether I could get it over here. Had no problem in receiving it though.
A lot of their sites are also ACSI, but in contrast to ACSI, some sites accept the card in high season, at different rates. I remember one in Germany last year which accepted it for 19 Euros for example.
Haven't looked in the book for a while, must start again soon for this year's trips

ValA your link does not connect with the ACSI site, but direct to the site website in Spanish!!
I know - but it shows much better pictures than the ACSI site which is(www.campingcard.co.uk) for those who don't know it. You can also find the site in the ACSI book.
The ACSI website is easier for searching out 10 euro sites - just do a search using 12 euros in the particular area you're interested in and the 10 euro sites will also come up if there are any.
The ACSI Card (www.campingcard.co.uk) and Camping Cheques (www.campingcheque.co.uk) are both good schemes. Both offer good discounts on some sites. However, for winter caravanning, people report that they can obtain better discounts by paying directly to the campsites, for longer stays.
If you're going to get one (OR both) then make sure the sites they offer are the sort of site you'd want to stay, and that the dates you want are covered!
