I must admit this site, despite it's wonderfulness at being able to find sites I perhaps wouldn't find, can make it a bit obsessive. I have quite a few sites in my virtual brochure that I've looked at when people have recommended them, not sure I'll get to most of them! Still, so long as you can keep a lid on it, it won't do us any harm. Having said that I've just booked one in Craster for a weekend in July!

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

I have started to think about what to do for reaching my half century in 2015, and am thinking about camping in Holland.
I'd like the idea of taking my Hypercamp Escala 4 and mingle with other Dutch pyramid tents.
If budget allows, I may treat myself to a better tent while I am out there.

I always think "we'll do something different this year", but 9 times out of 10 end up in France. Not thought about 2013 yet, as this year we MAY go to Northern Germany, partly weather depending.
And if we don't, then we MAY do that next year.
We just get to the other side, and make our minds up on arrival, but must admit to looking at areas and sites beforehand, as I get a lot of enjoyment out of that. But often we never end up on the sites I've looked at, so they're on hold until a next time, and so it goes on...
