Sorry, that's me getting mixed up to.  La Croix du Vieux Pont takes Touring Cheques as well as Camping Cheques - but unfortunately not ACSI!

Have a look on the Camping Cheques website www.campingcheque.co.uk!  Vouchers (or electronic download on to a card) which cost £13.95 per night which covers the cost of a pitch for two people, car and caravan (or motorhome or tent), awning, electricity and one dog.  Like ACSI some sites have special offers, such as 7 nights for the price of 6, 14 nights for 11, and so on.  The disadvantage over ACSI (certainly with paper cheques) is that you have to buy them in advance.  The electronic ones can be downloaded at any time.

They are valid for two years, and around 700 sites throughout Europe.  Some people book their ferry crossings as a package with Camping Cheques because it makes it cheaper (both from Camping Cheques themselves, or from the Caravan Club) and sometimes people sell Camping Cheques they can't use themselves, on forums such as this one.

la croix has lovely pools.

 I would book as thats the UK Easter holidays ....
