Never experienced any problems ...
But ...
In theory ... anything with a motor might be more potentially hazardous ... especially if operated near water ... eg sink?? e.g. hair dryer ??
Comments from pro electricians please?
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
The best advice is never mix water and electricity. Hairdryer sockets are rarely above the sink - in my experience those are reserved for razors only. I always prefer to dry my hair 'at home' using our own socket!
Unlike UK, France is ok with normal plug sockets in bathrooms & washrooms, I've seen sanitaires with plug sockets under wash basins...But then French campers use domestic extension leads for ehu cable & stand domestic fridges outside...
