Can anyone recommend a municpal or good basic site for an overnight stop within an hour's drive from the Dunkirk ferry? Also any experiences of using Norfolk Line? The price seems to be the best around for August.

nice site at Grande Fort st Phillipe, [or some variation on that] about 5 minutes from a small town, near the beach,

If you are looking within an hours drive tho that covers a lot of territory, so which way are you heading?

We'll be going South towards Charente/Poitiers so I guess somewhere around St Omer or that sort of direction, although a small detour wouldn't be a problem.

If you are heading towards St Omer then Chateau de Gandspette is a favourite of ours. Can get quite full in the summer. Price the same all year about Ģ16/18 for the night. I can send more info if you e-mail me.
