Hi

This might be a daft question but we will be towing our folding camper from Calais to the Alsace this summer and we will need to stop off a few times in service stations en route.
Are there designated car park spaces for caravans etc...or do you just pull up using  a few spaces?

Same will apply when we stop over in Dover the night before we sail - do the hotels accomodate parking for cars towing vans/campers etc.....

We have camped abroad many times but used the pre-errected tents so this is our first time towing.

All autoroute services have long bays for caravans, generally with the lorries but that's not a problem.

I knew Google had driven around some very obscure areas of France - our friend's house in the Aude for instance - but didn't realise they'd gone through the service areas in such detail.  In the caravan area in Aire de la Baie de Somme there's a van which could be our first van - you can see it in such fine detail!
