I am planning a visit to the World Horticultural Expo (Floriade) in April and wonder if anyone could recommend a site to me in the general area of Venlo which I gather is in the Linburg region. Also any general advice re camper-vanning in Holland would be appreciated as this will be my first journey abroad in the van. Many thanks in anticipation. Adrian

We are also thinking about a visit to Floriade but can't make up our minds when, we think end August as it fits our plans better. You could have a look at the ACSI website for sites round and about. There are a few campsites quite nearby.
I haven't stayed at this site myself, but know of it, there are no reviews on here and not having stayed there myself obviously cannot do one! But THIS IS THE WEBSITE LINK IN ENGLISH and from there it is an easy walk to the railway station in Valkenburg, where you could get the train to Venlo.

We are going in June and have made a reservation with this site Camping Californie
We found it through the Floriade website and emailed them. We had a nice reply back in english and it appears to be fairly close to the exhibition. So we are hoping for the best.
