Hi All
We have a ferry from Dover 18.35 on a Friday night, thinking of driving for an hour or so before stopping for the night, for the 2nd night we were thinking of Macon.
Has anybody stayed at the municipal at Macon?
From there, we hope it will be an easy drive to Forcalquier in Provance.
John & Ann
Ps this does depend on the weather forecast for Provance.

Back in the day 70's & 80's, we always used to us the Municipal at Macon, on our way to the Cote d Azur, we would arrive around 3pm and be off again 9am the next morning.
I can remember plenty of units arrriving and leaving, almost transit like, and I guess it's still much the same in peak, and only have pleasant memories of the campsite itself, ideal for a break in the long journey South.
Of course we are campers, so would only put up the small tent for the overnights.
Then the Budget hotels came along, so we now do an overnight just South of Dunkerque, and a second at Montelimar on our journey South to the Sun!
