Well we are all booked now for our trip to Des 4 Vents in June taking our caravan.
All thats left is to decide which route to take. I have used all the route finders I can find check and I have two routes from Calais
1) A26 then A1
2) A16 then across
Its sounds like A16 has less tolls and distance wise there does not appear to be much between them. The tolls don't bother me if thats the better more straight forward route.
Can anyone who has done these routes let me know their thoughts please ?
Thanks

Much of a muchness really, A16 route to Paris will be less busy, then you just follow signs to Charles DeGaulle airport which is where you would arrive if you were coming down A1 & then around A104/N104 & onto N4.
come at the peage at Senlis then cut across to Meaux and across to Crevecoeur I use this regularly to get to avoid the A4 part of La Francilienne. Dead easy, quiet road. Have only visited 4 winds once - expensive with little to offer for its price unless you go out of season loo blocks I found to be minimal and old fashioned for the area and the price
