Hi, We were thinking of going to France next August, from Poole to Cherbourg, as we store near Poole. I haven,t towed in France before so don,t want to travel too far, maybe the Normandy area or Brittany. I,ve not got a clue about distances involved. So can anyone give any advise on the best areas to go, sites to stay at, what the roads are like etc. Also is it better to do a trip independently or through someone like the Caravan Club.

Any advise gratefully received ( Even if its don,t go! )

If you are planning to use Brittany Ferries Poole -Cherbourg they don't take caravans on this xing.
