Hi

Has anyone used European-breakdown-cover.com before? Their European Green Flag cover for a car and trailer is about £25 cheaper than booking the cover directly with Green Flag themselves. Has anyone any experience of using this company please? I'm not sure if to go with the safer option of paying a bit more and booking directly with Green Flag.

Thanks

We cover via Greenflag Europe for both car and caravan but we've been with them for years and are bone-idleish. However, not so bone-idle that we haven't covered ourselves.

I would however like to propose some form of international sign-language for the various things which others can see but the car towing. Suggestions for 'the caravan has a puncture' please? My idea is a pointed hand/finger at the van and a horizontal 'clap'. Any others?

As Nick says ADAC is excellent we have been with them 4 years, used twice once for van once for car and no problems. Everyone speaks excellent English too.

I have used this website before, but never had to claim. I will book with them again this year as it is good value on the face of it.

Is it as cheap as ADAC? 79.50 Euro's for one person 2 people Partner Plus 98.70 Euro's 2nd largest Breakdown Organisation in the world next to AAA of the US. We cannot fault them.

Greenflag have placed restrictions on their normal policies and don't cover anything more than 7M long I 've queried this numerous times regarding is that internal length or including A Frame and been told it's including A frame! To get cover with Greenflag we would have to go through the Caravan club now as our Van is 7.25M long we gave it a miss and have gone with Britannia Rescue.

Other than that could never fault greenflag all the times we had to use them!

Thanks for all the replies. I already have annual AA cover for the UK. I was looking for 10 day cover for the trailer and car in France. Green flag direct were £67. European-Breakdown.com greenflag was £48.99. Having never used either I was hoping for a recommendation. Adding to my uncertainty when I called the AA for a quote they advised me that they are the only organisation who will try and repair the car at the side of the road. They said all the other organisations will just tow to the nearest garage! I'll take a look at ADAC. Thanks
