Hi Christine
Camping Lac D'Orient not far fromTroyes, and a good midway point between Calais and Annecy might be a good (if pricey) bet. The site has a pool with slides, bar, restaurant and pristine facilities and there is also access to a lovely lake just outside where you can swim, hire pedalos, etc. We stayed there on the way back from the Southern Alps last year.
