We recently had three days in a Eurocamp Mobile at Camping International at Maisons Laffitte, in order to visit Paris. This morning we received the Eurocamp 2013 brochure - and there printed on the front cover is 'The (Our Surname)'s) Ideal Destination' - See page 43 for our expert's recommendations'. Then further down the cover 'Paris - thinking of returning - See Page ?' - and inside the fold out flap 'Like Camping International then you'll love La Croix du Vieux Pont'. I can understand a flyer on the inside of the brochure referring to our holiday details, but to actually have it printed on the fixed cover of the brochure is amazing.
Well done Eurocamp for some first-class marketing. Our friends (campers too) were also impressed when I showed them it!

They've been doing this for a few years....we went with them in 09 and have since used Eurocamp Independent, but still get cards reminding us of our holiday in Annecy in 09 and reccommending other sites......some we've used with our own kit!!

Yes, we've had all that, the cards, and the inserted flyers, - but this was the full 2013 'normal' brochure, but with our name on the front cover and a personalised article inside recommending sites!
And no, we've just had dinner with the same friends! We've had to get a taxi home as the wine flowed a little too much and my friend fell asleep, so we sneaked away!
We were in a brochure too, for Sites Abroad. "Mrs xxx from Fareham said lalalala" and so on, made us look twice too! We had completed their on-site survey and they had actually used all our comments, and they were accurate too. Will look out for the Eurocamp brochure arriving through our door. Well done ValA!

Hi Askill - I don't mean we'll be on everyone's copy - I mean our copy was 'personalised' just for us with a proper printed front cover.
I don't know anyone else who's been with Eurocamp recently to ask if they've had the same thing, but Kwen also reports (above) that their copy had their name on!
i stumbled upon the eurocamp promotional video for le club farret and while watching i spotted me the mrs an kids in the video jumping about in the pool and sat around the entertainment at night.. lol

Hi Val. Can I ask your opinion on the site at Maison Laffitte these days. It's been a number of years since we were there and are considering it again in the next year or two.
I wouldn't choose it as a 'destination' but for overnight stops, or to visit Paris for the odd day or two it would be fine. It's an awful lot better than it was last time we were there, and I've put an up to date review on the campsite database on UKCS.
Noticed that our brochure had 40% off cheapest holiday of you book 2 in 2013. We have booked 8 nights at garangeoire in one of their classic tents for mays half term and then 7 nights in a static in duinrell for October half term.
Both holidays came to a grand total of just over £600. A bargain for a family of 4, for 15 nights in school holidays. Especially when you consider how fantastic the facilities are at both sites.. I don't think we could take our own tent and get cheaper.
