We are off to Logis in August, we keep our van there. However I have already decided that if the weather isn't great we will leave the caravan and drive south to Spain and find a nice villa. We have both had an extremely busy year work-wise and my 3 weeks holiday are too precious to spend in the rain.

13 Days till we leave for la piscine at fouesnant (Brittany), 1st night at brill cs Topsham near Exeter onto ferry Plymouth to Roscoff next day 2nd night at le trologot then onto Fouesnant, revisting for first time since 2007 ironically the weather was very similar back then but we had a brill time so hoping for the same again plus they've got an indoor pool now so that should help.
Having decided on Les Peupliers, we're now going to L'Hirondelle in the Drome. It's pricier but on balance we think a better site for our 3 and 6 year olds who do love a good complexe aquatique. We're stopping at La Bien Assise after the Eurotunnel for our first night then a municipal in burgendy (beaune, macon, dijon? any recommendations out there?) before 12 nights at L'Hirondelle and 3 nights somewhere camping cheque/acsi on the way home. Booked and paid a deposit now so no more changing my mind...

We're going last week in August plus first week in September - for the first time in 23 years just me and my wife!
Haven't booked anywhere - we'll just sling the tent and gear in the back of the car and head for the sun - so somewhere between Normandy and the Med - ideally we'd probably like to do Loire, Dordogne and Ile de Re.
And with all the extra room in the car we can fit in so much more wine

Dover ---> Calais ferry booked 18th August just after I finish at the Olympics. Three nights booked in Loire then the rest of the 21 day holiday is 'follow you nose' kind of stuff. I seriously can't wait!!!
