Hi,
We're (the wife and I) looking to camp (tent) in Brittany this summer but don't want a site full of children! Don't mind basic facilities and would like to be within striking distance of the coast - does anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Ben
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Warbis is right, but if you choose a site without a pool (and certainly without water slides), and one without tour operators, or entertainments, and one a few miles inland, and a small site too, then you'll have a better chance. There are loads !
Thanks for the responses so far, unfortunately I'm a teacher soit has to be the summer hols! I'm not expectingno kids, just a bit of peace and quiet!!!
Hi bkdavvy- fellow teacher here too!! we love a little site in BegMeil called Kerroland- cant be assured of no kids but there is no pool/bar/shop and if you ask for a pitch at the bottom end of the site away from the 1 slide & swing you will not be troubled too much at all by the familiar sound of young voices!!
Basic loos & showers but easy stroll into town ( bakery/fish van daily, market weekly, creperies, 5 or 6 restaurants) and about 7 white sand beaches all within a 20 min stroll!!- heaven on earth for us but not if you like things buzzing!!
